Honors Carolina is pleased to announce a lead gift by
Chad and Blake Lowery Pike, Class of 1993,
to launch the Honors Carolina “Go Anywhere” Initiative
The purpose of this gift is simple and bold: to create new tools for
connecting enterprising students with successful alumni for advice,
internships, and post-graduate employment. The “Go Anywhere”
Initiative will include a new team of career coaches, an innovative career
development curriculum, and a purpose-built technology platform
designed to facilitate student career exploration and alumni engagement.
“Blake and I are excited to work with Honors Carolina to launch this
project. The ‘Go Anywhere’ Initiative will improve student placement
with top-tier employers, strengthen alumni networks, and foster
increased philanthropic support for Carolina by future graduates.
It’s all about Carolina people helping Carolina people.”
CHAD PIKE, SENIOR MANAGING DIRECTOR AND VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE BLACKSTONE GROUP
The Pikes’ gift is made through their Grassy Creek Foundation.
