The GAA’s Official Class Ring Ceremony is like a cross between Commencement and a wedding. There are speakers and a little
history lesson, and the provost shakes hands with each recipient. The
audience is packed with family and friends. And there are rings at the
center of the event. At the Nov. 20 ceremony, 200 students and more
than 400 of their well-wishers packed the George Watts Hill Alumni
Center to receive and admire their treasures.
Class rings evoke many personal stories for alumni. Read some at alumni.
