‘Last fall I was in Kenya looking at ChildFund’s response to the
current drought. I was visiting communities where everything was
brown and dry, and dust was up to your ankles. We were visiting
early childhood centers where we were distributing food to under-2s
to help insure they have proper nutrition during this critical time
on going. It applies to kids, too. Sometimes you don’t see
the impact you can make with kids until years later.’
