2011 Calendar by Artist Elaine O’Neil

This holiday season, give a gift as original as its recipient.

Elaine O’Neil, textile collage artist, has collaborated with the N.C. Cancer Hospital to create 12 scenes that highlight the beauty and character of North Carolina. Instead of using paint, she creates each image using a myriad of fabric colors and textures, all painstakingly sewn together.

These inspiring pieces have been photographed and reproduced as an 11” x 14” calendar, each month suitable for framing. Proceeds benefit the N.C. Cancer Hospital, the clinical home of the nationally-recognized UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, the state’s only public comprehensive cancer center.

Great to give as gifts – to yourself, family and friends – the calendar is a lovely tribute to our great state, and a year-round reminder that you have made a difference in the life of cancer patients.
