’ 96 J. Calvin Cunningham III (’ 96 AB; ’00, ’ 99 JD) of Lexington has received the Army’s top leadership award, the Gen.
Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award. Cunningham,
a lawyer with Kilpatrick Stockton LLP and a former
N.C. state senator, served as the senior trial counsel
in the office of the staff judge advocate, MultiNational Corps-Iraq, at Camp Victory. As student
body president, Cunningham served on the GAA
