The GAA
h
keeps me connected
and inspired.
When I left Carolina for Los Angeles shortly
after graduation, I had never traveled farther
west than the mountains of North Carolina.
So I joined the GAA in order to remain
connected to my roots, my home state, my
alma mater. My networking with other
alumni in my area was pivotal to my feeling
“at home” in a new place and has helped
me to create lasting friendships as well.
Today I enjoy knowing what is
going on at the University and
the amazing things that our
students, faculty and alumni are
accomplishing across the country
and around the world. The
GAA keeps me connected
and inspired.
