Boutique Bakery can hold its own against
the conveyor belt behind the glass at Krispy
Kreme. The new cupcake cafe that set up
shop in The Courtyard space once occupied by 3 Cups has a picture window into
its kitchen, so diners can watch the baker at
work.
Bliss specializes in treats remembered
fondly from childhood: traditional home-style cookies like chocolate chip, sugar,
oatmeal raisin, peanut butter ($1.50 each)
and nontraditional cupcakes of the type
photographed on crystal pedestal plates in
magazines. Each day at Bliss brings three
cupcake specials, including a new vegan
selection daily, to supplement the chocolate and vanilla varieties. Stop by Mondays
