Casey, a third-degree black belt in To-Shin Do, is the
owner of Boulder Quest Center, where she is a senior instructor. Casey writes a monthly column for
Women’s Magazine and maintains her own blog on
boulderquest.com. Michelle R. Evans (’02 JD) of
Upper Marlboro, Md., has been named assistant
counsel in the office of the law revision counsel at
the U.S. House. Francemise St. Pierre Kingsberry
(’02 AB) of Youngsville has been named assistant
principal at Royal Elementary School. Tykesha
Symona Spivey (’02 ABJM) of Bowie, Md., has been
named a writer/editor, policy development with the
U.S. Capitol Police. Amanda Joy Visek (’02 AB) of
Alexandria, Va., has been awarded the certified consultant designation by the Association for Applied
Sport Psychology. Visek, an assistant professor in
the department of exercise science at the George
Washington University Medical Center, also is director of the Mental Training Center for Optimal Performance. Her research focuses on performance
enhancement, aggression in sports, youth sport and
exercise adherence interventions.
