Home Run
The Heels take the field for a season of high
expectations on opening day Feb. 20, the first
time they’d seen Boshamer Stadium in more
than a year. After a $25 million renovation,
Boshamer now seats 4, 100 and features luxury
boxes, a much more open concourse, more rest
rooms and concession stands, a new clubhouse
and an indoor/outdoor practice facility. The
pre-season polls have Carolina a consensus top
three in the country. Every starter got a hit on
opening day, and the Heels swept a three-game
weekend from VMI.
