Camp BLUE
HEAVEN
AUGUST 15– 17, 2008
Our popular GAA family camp program — Camp Blue Heaven — will be
held August 15– 17 in the scenic North Carolina mountains at Camp Cheerio.
The weekend will be filled with traditional camp activities such as canoeing,
swimming, horseback ring riding, archery, riflery and climbing walls. You’ll
have the opportunity for special adventure activities such as caving or a
canoe trip along the New River.
Former UNC basketball player Eric Montross ’ 94 and UNC men’s lacrosse
coach John Haus ’ 83 will each provide a one-hour clinic during the weekend.
In addition, staff from the UNC Morehead Planetarium and Science Center
will provide fun and educational activities.
Gather with other UNC families for the last fling of the summer. Bring your
extended family — children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Camp Blue Heaven only costs about $500 for a family of four.
