Dr. Bret Conaway Williams (’ 89, ’ 88
MPH), 55, of Efland; May 14, 2007. Williams
was a physician with Yanceyville Family
Practice. Previously, he was a physician in
underserved areas, including Tanzania, Kenya
and the Andes Mountains. He established
medical clinics on both Daufuskie and Hilton
Head islands. He worked extensively with the
Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation
