Give Our Newest
Tar Heels A Proper
Carolina Send-Off
arolina Clubs across
the country will host
events this summer in
honor of our newest
crop of Carolina
students. Student send-off
receptions are a great way for
new students to meet their
fellow classmates and alumni
while socializing and learning
more about Carolina.
Send-off receptions can range
from ice cream socials to full-scale
barbecues. Find out what the
club in your area is doing. Visit
alumni.unc.edu/sendoffs or call
(919) 962–6705.

New Look,
New Features
The GAA is relaunching its Web site
this summer with a new design, changes
in how material is organized and features
designed to make it easier for alumni to
reconnect with each other and with
Carolina.
The changes follow more than a year of
outside research, including studying how
users prefer to utilize alumni.unc.edu.
(The search feature, for example, was popular among alumni volunteers involved in
the research.) Watch for the new Web site
and let us know what you think by sending an e-mail to car@unc.edu.
