History
For more than 25, years Carolina’s stellar faculty and the General Alumni
Association have teamed up to provide a variety of lifelong learning
programs that keep our alumni and friends connected to the intellectual
life of our University. Because of this partnership, the GAA’s alumni
education program has been recognized nationally as a model for other
alumni associations. Although most programs are conducted on campus
through our Carolina College for Lifelong Learning, we also support local
Carolina clubs across the country by coordinating faculty speakers for
events as well as other regional outreach programs. In addition, the GAA
is also pleased to co-sponsor the superb learning experiences available
through the“Adventures in Ideas”seminars, conducted by the Program
in the Humanities and Human Values.
