Urban Orientation Heading off to a big city that boasts millions of residents can feel a bit like being lost in the shuffle as a freshman at UNe. That's why local Carolina Clubs in six cities recendy held "Welcome To" events - evenings where newcomers can meet alumni who have lived in the area and learn how to make the city feel like home. Nearly 200 alumni attended last year's "Welcome To" events in Adanta, Chicago, Charlotte and Washington, nc.; this year, the Carolina Clubs in those four cities plus the Triangle and New York participated, hosting welcoming events in August and September.
