UNC General Alumni Association
and the Carolina Alumni Review
The Carolina Alumni Review, the bimonthly magazine of the UNC
General Alunmi Association, seeks an Art Director as part ofthe
Association's seven-member Alumni Publications Department. The
Art Director is responsible for managing the design and production
of the award-winning magazine as well as other publications produced
by the Association. Outstanding design skills-and a portfolio that
demonstrates them- are required, as are strong proofreading and
computer skills. Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities,
creativity and a team orientation are essential. A strong familiarity
with the UNC campus is an asset in this position. The Art Director
will have a keen interest in electronic communications, excellent
editorial judgment and the ability to produce the Review and other
communications products on time, within budget and to the highest
possible standards of quality. Macintosh computer experience with a
knowledge of QuarkXPress and Photoshop is preferred as well as a
knowledge of Illustrator or FreeHand.
